Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Reverything website, public rankings, ranking flows, result pages, and sharing features. By using the site, you acknowledge the data practices described here.

Your ranking progress. In-progress comparisons and order are stored in your browser so you can return later.

Completed ranking results. When you finish, we store the topic, item order, comparison count, and a random hashed session identifier. This does not include your name, email, or real-world identity.

Anonymous product events. We record actions such as starting or completing a ranking, downloading an image, creating a share link, and starting from a shared page. These use only a random hashed session identifier.

Essential technical information. The site and hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser type, access time, device information, and error logs for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

Information you provide. If you contact support, we receive the content you choose to send in email or chat.

We use an essential cookie named rank_everything_session to associate completed results with the same browser. It is not used for advertising and expires after one year.

We also store unfinished ranking state in browser-local storage. You can clear cookies and site data in browser settings at any time; doing so may prevent unfinished rankings from being restored.

Your result is private by default. It becomes an unlisted, link-accessible result only when you choose Copy share link or Share with friends.

Anyone with the link can see the ranking topic and your ordered result. Do not include sensitive personal information in ranking titles, shareable content, or messages to others.

• Provide rankings, save results, and create share links;
• Measure anonymous completion and sharing funnels to improve the experience;
• Keep the service secure, handle errors, and prevent abuse;
• Reply when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information or use your ranking results for third-party personalised advertising.

We disclose information only to service providers that need it to provide hosting, databases, support, or security. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users and the service.

Results you actively share are visible to people who hold the link.

You control browser-local data and can clear it yourself. Completed server-side results are retained for as long as sharing and analytics require. To request deletion of an identifiable shared result, send its link to support@reverything.com.
